Literature Text

Not from an act of love,
Not in my pregnant womb,
But in my Heart,
There you were Born.

Could never say
I was expecting You
And have a walk in the street
Showing my round tummy,
But still, You are mine,
You are my Child.

We were not bonded by blood,
We are bonded by milk.
Bonding makes us a Family.

We don't share the same
Blood,
But we share the same
Soul.
It's really a LONG time I don't write poetry, especially using English as a language ^^; So I know, this is NOT a good poem if you just look at the style. But you might still enjoy it... if you look at its meaning.

I dedicated it to Scarlette, a little robot girl I adopted in my Imaginary Family, but in reality this poem could have been written by every adoptive mother.

It's a poem about bonding, about breastfeeding and what it means for a mother and a child that have been brought together by adoption.

It just need an open heart to be enjoyed =)
